BRINKLEY Traffic on Interstate 40 in Prairie and Monroe counties reopened after a detour Wednesday morning as crews cleared an overturned tractor-trailer from the road.
The crash happened Tuesday afternoon at the 201 mile marker and stalled traffic for miles.
Eastbound traffic was diverted at the Hazen exit at the 193 mile marker and routed onto U.S. 70.
Westbound traffic was diverted at the Biscoe exit at the 202 mile market and routed onto Arkansas 38.
The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said on Twitter shortly after 11 a.m. that I-40 had reopened in both directions.
