De Queen woman claims $2 million Powerball prize

Sherry Miller, of De Queen, claimed her $2 million Powerball prize from the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery yesterday.

Miller spent $3 on her ticket for the Dec. 26 Powerball drawing, including a $1 PowerPlay.

The prize for correctly choosing the five white-ball numbers is $1 million, but Miller's prize was doubled because she added the PowerPlay to her ticket.

The next lottery drawing is tonight with the Natural State Jackpot, Decades of Dollars and Mega Millions. The next Powerball drawing is Wednesday night.
