Entergy power outages down to 279 after storm

Officials with the city are saying that crews will be making multiple rounds in every ward to pick-up all the debris left from the storm.

— Entergy Arkansas said it’s restored power to all but 279 homes and businesses that lost electricity in the Christmas Day winter storm.

As of Tuesday afternoon — a full week after the storm dropped ice and snow on the state — 259 customers remained without power in Pulaski County. The remainder of the outages are scattered throughout Cross, Faulkner, Lonoke, Marion, Mississippi, Saline, White and Yell counties.

Earlier in the day, more than 1,000 customers in Pope County were without power, but those outages were unrelated to the Christmas storm. All Pope County customers had power restored by Tuesday afternoon.

At the peak, 194,000 Entergy Arkansas customers were without electricity last week. Just over 100,000 of them were in Little Rock, while another 41,000 were in Malvern and Hot Springs.

Comcast is not monitoring power restoration very well, they don't have their facts together, the recordings say you'll have power by 10 pm yet you can see big cables on the ground and no service techs in sight. If you don't have a confirmed time range & fixed date appt, for your homes service, then you're not really on their list !!!
