UA Business Forecast luncheon to feature 3 noted economists

Three nationally-recognized economists will speak at the 2013 Business Forecast luncheon at the University of Arkansas.

Adolfo Laurenti, deputy chief economist and managing director of Mesirow Financial; Christopher Walker, research director and senior vice president at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis; and Kathy Deck, director at the Sam M. Walton College of Business' Center for Business and Economic Research, will all lend their expertise at the annual meeting, which will focus on the economic outlook for Arkansas, the U.S. and the world.

John Roberts III, president and chief executive officer of J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc., will serve as the moderator.

The luncheon will be held 11:30 a.m. Feb. 8 at the John Q. Hammons Convention Center in the World Trade Center District in Rogers.
