LITTLE ROCK — A woman died after she was hit by a vehicle in Cabot late Saturday night.
The woman, who Cabot investigators are not identifying, was walking south on Kerr Station Road at approximately 10:15 p.m. when a southbound vehicle struck her near Candlewood Circle.
According to Cabot Police Department spokesman Sgt. Keith Graham, the woman was taken to North Metro Hospital in Jacksonville where she was pronounced dead a short time later.
Graham said his department would not give any more information about the victim or the vehicle that struck her.
The crash remained under investigation Sunday night.
