Regions Bank is giving students an opportunity to win college scholarships in honor of Black History Month.
As part of the Regions Riding Forward Scholarship Essay Contest, students are asked to write a 500-word essay about a black person who inspire them.
Regions will reward 16 $5,000 scholarships for high school seniors and 16 $2,500 scholarships for college freshmen, sophomores and juniors.
The contest began Jan. 21 and ends Feb. 28. More details and eligibility requirements are available by logging on to regions.com/ridingforward.
