The white pickup was north on Chicot Road in Little Rock when it ran off the right side of the street near Hillsboro Road, took out a chain link fence, and severed a power pole.

The driver reportedly ran into a nearby wooded area. Little Rock Police Department Sgt. Cassandra Davis said the man had not been located as of 9:50 a.m.

The vehicle, a Department of Public Works pickup, was stolen overnight in Little Rock. The perpetrator had removed some of the decals identifying it as a city truck by the time the pursuit started.
