Martial arts, music and Monty Python top this weekend's entertainment options, according to Thursday's Arkansas Weekend section.
Teachers and students from all over the world will show off their stunts and skills at the American Taekwondo Association World Championships in Little Rock, with most events at the Statehouse Convention Center, Markham and Main streets. Saturday's World Ceremony will take place at North Little Rock’s Verizon Arena.
Honky-tonker Gary Allan will perform twice this week in Arkansas: at Fayetteville's Arkansas Music Pavilion and at Hot Springs' Magic Springs Water and Theme Park.
And the Weekend Theater in Little Rock presents Monty Python’s Spamalot about Camelot, a silly place where they sing, dance, quarrel over the air speed of an unladen swallow and eat ham, jam and spam (a lot).
