Elizabeth Diane Burkhalter and Frank William DeRossitt II exchanged marriage vows at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 20, in Christ Episcopal Church. The Rev. Kate Alexander officiated.

Parents of the bride are Rhonda Sanders Burkhalter and William Argene Burkhalter, both of Little Rock. Her grandparents are Sandra and Ron Sanders and Herschel and the late Ida Elizabeth Burkhalter, all also of Little Rock.

The groom is the son of Susan and Dr. James P. DeRossitt III of Forrest City. He is the grandson of Oral and the late Christine Edwards and the late Prentice and Alice Ann Macmillan, all also of Forrest City.

The chancel held columns topped with large arrangements of pink peonies, cream garden roses, hydrangeas, bells of Ireland and pink snapdragons.

Music was by organists Beau Baldwin and Steven Bullock.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless silk faille gown with a sweetheart neckline. The fitted bodice was embellished with a jewel-encrusted belt. She carried a bouquet of blush peonies, roses and hydrangeas.

Matron of honor was Brandi Crowell of Searcy, sister of the bride. Serving as bridesmaids were Tara Beebe of Sherwood; Stephanie Beurkle of Rogers; Lyndsay Carter of Stuttgart; Elizabeth Machen of Little Rock; and Callie Sisk and Megan Johnson, both of Fayetteville.

They wore strapless chiffon gowns in a soft latte color with sweetheart necklines and ruched bodices. They carried bouquets of roses, peonies, hydrangeas and coffee berry.

The father of the groom was best man. Groomsmen were John DeRossitt, brother of the groom, and Benjamin Holley, both of Memphis; Peter Stanley of Little Rock; Beau Baldwin of Fayetteville; Austin Easley of Forrest City; Kyle Belt of Fayetteville; and Eric Hoyt of Waco, Texas.

Guests were seated by Kaleb Crowell of Searcy; Trey Burkhalter of Bryant; Steve Edwards Jr. of Marianna; and James P. DeRossitt IV of Memphis.

Ring bearers were James P. Rowton III and William Rowton, both of Harrisburg, and James Nance of Jonesboro.

A reception at Next Level Events followed the ceremony. Music was by The Party Planet from Memphis.

The bride graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in teaching. She was a member of Pi Beta Phi.She is a third-grade teacher in the Bryant Public School system. The groom also attended the university, where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He is attending the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, working toward a bachelor’s degree in political science. He is associated with his family’s business, Edwards Food Giant.

The couple will make their home in Little Rock.
