Laura Elizabeth Hauge and Spencer Elliot Bradbury were united in marriage at 5 p.m. Friday, July 19, in San Giorgio Church, Portofino, Italy. Don Allessandro Giosso officiated.

John and Lisa Hauge of Pine Bluff are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Carolyn and the late Clyde Hemme of Little Rock and the late Irene and John Hauge Sr. of Pine Bluff.

Chucki and Curt Bradbury of Little Rock are the parents of the groom. His grandparents are Coleen and the late James Henry Bornhoft and Betty and the late Curtis Bradbury Sr., all also of Little Rock.

The arched front doors of the 12th-century church were decorated with a garland of white roses. The altar held large sprays of long-stemmed white roses, peonies and hydrangeas.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a sleeveless ivory silk and linen trumpet-style gown from Le Spose di Gio. The fitted, asymmetrically pleated bodice had a wide, scoop neckline and a low V-back embellished with a large bow. She carried ivory roses, peonies and hydrangeas.

Maid of honor was Nicole Elizabeth Hemme of Memphis, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaid was Rachel Elizabeth Bradbury of Little Rock, cousin of the groom. They wore champagne-colored, one-shoulder gowns of matte satin and chiffon with draped bodices and full skirts. They carried smaller versions of the bridal bouquet.

Curtis Franklin Bradbury III of Dallas served as his brother’s best man. Andrew Martin Hauge of Oxford, Miss., brother of the bride, was groomsman.

Guests were seated by Michael Gregory Hemme of Memphis, cousin of the bride, and Ralph Elliot Bradbury Jr. of Little Rock, cousin of the groom.

A reception in the gardens of the Hotel Splendido, Portofino, followed the ceremony. Guests at the eight-course dinner were seated at a long table with an ivory cloth topped by a gold silk runner. Groupings of white roses, peonies and hydrangeas decorated the table. A garland of wedding flowers decorated railings surrounding the garden.

After getting a bachelor’s degree in art from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, the bride studied art at American Intercontinental University in London. She will study fine art at St. Edward’s University in Austin.

The groom has a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from Southern Methodist University at Dallas. He most recently worked on an investment team in a private equity group at Neuberger Berman. He plans to study business administration at the University of Texas at Austin.

After a wedding trip to Tahiti and Bora Bora, the couple will make their home in Austin.
