A 67-year-old Warren man was killed Wednesday after the ATV he was riding on was struck by another vehicle.
It happened shortly before 6 p.m. in Warren as Rodney J. Parnell rode a 2008 Kawasaki ATV, according to an Arkansas State Police report.
Authorities say Parnell was southbound on Arkansas 278 West when he attempted to cross the westbound lanes of Arkansas 278. The ATV was then struck by an oncoming vehicle.
Parnell died from unspecified injuries. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
Parnell was the 69th person to die in a traffic accident on Arkansas roads so far this year, according to preliminary figures.
