NEXT WEEKHistory come alive: The Arkansas Reenactor Educational Association brings two violent days of history back to life at the 150th anniversary re-enactment of the Battle of Pea Ridge. It begins with a battle at 4:30 p.m. March 22 on Big Sugar Creek north of downtown Pea Ridge, followed by more re-enactments at 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. March 23 and 1:30 p.m. March 24. Nonbattle activities will include a ladies’ tea, Civil War symposium, seminar and grandball. Admission for spectators is $10 per day, $25 for a three-day pass, free for children under 14. Call (479) 685-7777 or visit arkansascivilwar150.com or arkcivilwar.org/pea_ridge_event.html.

NEXT MONTH History run amok: Knights will cause quite a ruckus on the Robinson Center Music Hall stage in their quest for the Holy Grail (and a shrubbery) when the tour of Monty Python’s Spamalot comes to town. Based on the cult classic film, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, the irreverent musical has performances at 7 p.m. April 1-2. Tickets are $26.50-$64. Call (800) 745-3000 or visit ticketmaster.com.
