PINE BLUFF — The Pine Bluff Police Department on Monday took a 16-year-old into custody in connection with a fatal shooting Sunday night.

Officers responded to the shooting about 8:35 p.m. at the 3000 block of Ash St., where they found 22-year-old William Roby Jr. suffering from a gunshot wound, Lt. Denise Richardson said in a news release. Roby died from his injuries at a local hospital.

Police say the teen, who is not identified due to his age, was turned in by his parents at the request of the department and is being held at the juvenile detention center in Pine Bluff.

No further information was immediately available.

If he's old enough to take another mans life, he's old enough to be charged as an adult and pay the adult penalty. including having his name published along with his disgusting face.
