BATESVILLE 38, BLYTHEVILLE 6

BLYTHEVILLE - Joey Rodriguez rushed for three touchdowns as Batesvillle (6-2, 5-0) stayed unbeaten in the 5A-East Conference by downing Blytheville (1-7, 0-5).

Rodriguez ran for touchdowns of 1, 1, and 3 yards, with the first two scores coming in the first quarter for a 14-0 lead.

Kenton Crawford ran 1 yard for a touchdown and Peter Roulier rushed 6 yards for Batesville’s other touchdown. Osvaldo Esperciueta kicked a 35-yard field goal and converted five extra points.

Blytheville scored in the game’s final minute on a 1-yard run by Terry Northern.

BEEBE 47, GREENE COUNTY TECH 27

PARAGOULD - Jessie Crisco scored three touchdowns and Tripp Smith rushed for 175 yards on 32 carries as Beebe (5-3, 4-1) beat Greene County Tech (1-7, 1-4) in a 5A-East Conference game.

Crisco rushed for 133 yards on 10 carries, scoring on runs of 51, 40 and 19 yards. Tripp scored on a 4-yard run.

Greene County Tech led 13-7 at the end of the first quarter.

Micha Duboise had a 2-yard run with 17 seconds left in the first half to give Beebe a 27-20 lead.

Dakota Mahoney scored on two 20-yard touchdown runs in the third quarter for Beebe and Crisco scored his third touchdown in the fourth quarter.

FORREST CITY 21, NETTLETON 9

FORREST CITY - Ethan Adams threw two touchdown passes to Dennis Scott in Forrest City’s 5A-East victory over Nettleton (4-4, 3-2).

Adams threw a 17-yard touchdown pass to Scott late in the first quarter and a 25-yard touchdown pass to Scott with 29 seconds left in the first half to give the Mustangs (6-2, 3-2) a 15-9 halftime lead.

Bryan Allen sealed the victory with a 57-yard touchdown run with 5 minutes left in the game.

Dustin Dubar’s 13-yard pass to Montell Moore late in the second quarter resulted in Nettleton’s only touchdown.

WYNNE 40, PARAGOULD 14

WYNNE - Junior quarterback Zach Morris completed all 13 of his passes, including two for touchdowns, in Wynne’s victory over Paragould.

Sophomore tailback Antonio Davis ran for three touchdowns for the Yellowjackets (6-2, 4-1 5A-East). Paragould (2-6, 0-5) trailed 28-0 at halftime.
