ROGERS 59, SPRINGDALE HAR-BER 42

ROGERS - Three players rushed for more than 100 yards as Rogers (5-3, 2-3 7A/6A-West) defeated Springdale Har-Ber (5-3, 3-2).

Slot back Brandon Workman ran for 222 yards and 4 touchdowns, slot back Ty Galyean added 135 yards and 2 touchdowns and Harrell had 101 yards and 1 touchdown as Rogers used its option attack to roll up 556 yards on the ground. The Mounties scored on their first five possessions of the game and on their first two possessions of the second half.

Workman scored on a 63-yard run, two 57-yard runs and a 21-yard run. Galyean scored on runs of 57 and 3 yards, while Max Harrell added a 1-yard scoring run.

Springdale Har-Ber cut Rogers’ lead to 49-42 on a short touchdown run by Sain Mathew with 10:36 left in the game, but Rogers responded with a 67-yard drive that was capped by a 28-yard field goal by Ryan Nolan with 8:38 left.

Rogers defensive back Dane Rogers returned an interception 60 yards for a touchdown just over a minute later to put the game out of reach.

Springdale Har-Ber quarterback Kyle Pianalto completed 14 of 26 passes for 267 yards and 4 touchdowns. Camden Scott had 6 catches for 101 yards and 3 touchdowns, and Mathew ran for 170 yards and 2 touchdowns.

BENTONVILLE 38, VAN BUREN 7

BENTONVILLE - Dylan Smith and Hekili Keliiliki each scored two touchdowns as Bentonville (6-2, 5-0 7A/6AWest Conference) easily handled Van Buren (1-7, 0-5) at Tiger Stadium.

Keliiliki scored on a 10-yard run in the first quarter before adding a 4-yard touchdown run just before halftime as Bentonville took a 31-0 halftime lead.

Smith scored on a 1-yard run in the first quarter and a 3-yard run in the third quarter.

Sophomore quarterback Kasey Ford completed 6 of 9 passes for 165 yards and 1 touchdown while eclipsing the 1,000-yard passing mark for the season. Ford threw a 48-yard touchdown pass to Jimmie Jackson in the second quarter.

Van Buren avoided the shutout when Brad Eversole threw a 12-yard touchdown pass to Andrew Martin with 10:20 remaining.

Bentonville held its opponent to fewer than 100 yards passing for the fourth consecutive game, limiting Van Buren to 98 yards.

ROGERS HERITAGE 43, SPRINGDALE 10

SPRINGDALE - Rogers Heritage (4-4, 2-3 7A/6A-West) scored the first 33 points of the second half to break open a tight game on its way to a victory over Springdale (5-3, 3-2) at Jarrell Williams Bulldogs Stadium.

Heritage running back Brandon Gates had 22 carries for 188 yards and caught a 33-yard touchdown from Josh Qualls, while Joey Saucier ran for a 31-yard touchdown and caught a 38-yard touchdown pass from Qualls.

Qualls completed 8 of 14 passes for 95 yards and 3 touchdowns, with his other scoring pass a 1-yarder to Jeremy Spickes.

Eric Grom added field goals from 50 and 48 yards for Heritage.

Springdale running back Deandre Murray ran for 163 yards and scored on a 1-yard run.

FAYETTEVILLE 35, SILOAM SPRINGS 14

SILOAM SPRINGS - Brayden Cook had 31 carries for 196 yards and 3 touchdowns as Fayetteville (8-0, 5-0) defeated Siloam Springs (1-6-1, 0-5) in a 7A/6A-West Conference game at Glenn Black Stadium.

Cook scored on a pair of 1-yard runs and a 2-yard run.

Luke Rapert caught a 5-yard touchdown pass from Mitch Marshall, and Terrell Tyson returned an interception 35 yards for another touchdown.

Austin Baccus caught a 16-yard touchdown pass for Siloam Springs, and Chris Lampton scored on a 3-yard run.

Fayetteville held Siloam Springs to 243 yards of total offense, including just 29 yards rushing.
