Park on the River in Maumelle was the setting at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, for the marriage of Jordan Leslie Fisher and Lucas Carl Sandlin. Stuart Cash of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ officiated.

Janet and Robert Fisher of North Little Rock are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of John and the late Lindy Fisher and the late LaRue and Douglas Hasley, all of North Little Rock.

The groom is the son of Jake and Terry Sandlin of Maumelle. His grandparents are Robert Webb and the late Freda Sandlin-Webb of Little Rock and the late Peggy and Allan Robinson of Toronto.

A wrought iron wedding arbor was decorated with chrysanthemums, white pumpkins, grapevine and vintage lanterns.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory satin gown. The beaded and embroidered bodice had delicately beaded shoulder straps and two silk bands around the waist. The hem and chapel train were also embellished with beading. She carried a bouquet filled with roses, hypericum berries, yarrow, lilies, lily pods and green miniature pine cones.

Serving as their sister’s honor attendants were Jessica Turker of North Little Rock and Jennifer Adams of Paragould. Bridesmaids were Allison Whiting, Leah Skinner,Mary Ann Vincent Hendricks and Brooke Burgin, all of Conway; and Jessica Waller of Maumelle. They wore eggplant-colored strapless chiffon gowns and carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.

Flower girls were Brittan Sandlin, Hadley Sandlin and Eliot Sandlin, all of Little Rock, and Ally Harness of Bauxite, all nieces of the groom.

Dr. Adam Sandlin of Little Rock was his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were the father of the groom; Sarper Turker of North Little Rock; Jeff Whitener of Sherwood; and Sean Shrewsbury, Jordan Bullock and Jonathan Burgin, all of Conway.

Tables at the reception, also at Park on the River, were decorated with lanterns and miniature white pumpkins on top of burlap table runners.

The bride is a student at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway and will graduate in May with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is employed as a patient care technician at Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

The groom is a magna cum laude graduate of UCA and has a bachelor’s degree in psychology/communications. He is a behavioral instructor at Methodist Family Health.

The couple will live in Maumelle after a honeymoon in Hot Springs.
