Volunteers cleaning up trash along Kanis Road discovered a woman’s body in a wooded area near the road Saturday morning, Little Rock police said.
Police spokesman Cassandra Davis said the woman, who appeared to be in her 20s, had died from some type of trauma.
She said police did not know how long the body had been at the 7900 block of Kanis Road but believe it was placed there after the woman died elsewhere.
She said police are investigating but did not yet have a suspect or a motive in the death.
