DR. ROBERT E. DUNHAM was born in Harrison, Ark., to Earl and Bertha Dunham on April 17, 1935. He passed away on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, in Little Rock.

He was preceded in death by his son, Dr. Michael Dunham; his sister, Dorothy Stephens; and his parents, Earl and Bertha Dunham.

He is survived by his wife, Ilse Dunham; his children, Steven Dunham and Dr. Sandra Reynolds; his sister, Rena Lody; and by his nephews, Gary Lody (Carrie) and Timothy Stephens (Nicole).

There will be a private memorial service with family and friends.

ALEXANDER - Jebby Wayne Abbott, age 56, passed awayOct. 25, 2013. Jebby was born on April 5, 1957 in Little Rock, Ark.

Jebby is survived by his wife, Mary Abbott of Alexander, Ark.; two sons, Drew Rogers of Alexander, Allen Perry of North Little Rock, Ark.; two daughters, Amber Rogers of Mabelvale, Ark., Cindy Abbott of Alexander; father, James Abbott of Alexander; three brothers, Bobby Abbott and wife Letha of Alexander, Tim Abbott of Alexander, Allen Abbott of Alexander; three sisters, Debbie Ashton and husband Butch of Alexander, Fay Jackson and husband Jerry of Alexander, Gay Mayfield of Alexander; seven grandchildren, Dillion, Destinee, Jasmine, Jada, Jauanna, Jamya, Jordyn; as well as many other family members and friends all who loved him dearly and will miss him always.

Jebby was preceded in death by his mother; Virginia “Ann” Abbott.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, Oct. 29, from 6-8 p.m. at Smith Family Funeral Home, Benton Chapel, 322 North Market St., Benton, Ark. Funeral service: Officiated by Bro. James Thurston and Bro. BENTON - Jerry Earl Welton, of Benton went to be with the Lord Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013, at the age of 79. He was born Jan. 10, 1934, in Pottsville, Ark. God gifted him with strength of character and a personality that drew love as well as admiration of all whose lives he touched.

His surviving wife, Barbara Ann and his brother, Ronnie, areamong those who first knew this wonderful man. Affectionately known as Daddy by his children and Papa by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is the adored member of our family who always put God first, his family second and himself last.

Through Jerry’s work in church, schools, the Gideon’s and his lifelong profession in the car business, he left the testimony of his faith on many.

There will be a private family memorial held in his honor. Thank you to all the many friends who have loved him during his time on earth.

EL DORADO - Linda Garrett, 67, of El Dorado, died Oct. 25, at St. Vincent Infirmary.

GREENWOOD - Randy Tarver, 67, of Greenwood died Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, in his home. He was a retired drug wholesale rep. with JM Smith Drug Co., a Tank Commander in the Arkansas National Guard, attended the GreenwoodUnited Methodist Church and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Conway.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Tarver; two sons, Rusty Tarver of Greenwood and Ryan Tarver of the home; cousins, Clay Lamey of Conway, Janice Lamey Young and husband Paul of Conway; aunt, Dora Libby Lamey of Conway; sister, Sally Tarver Ingram of Conway; brother-in-law, Bob Shepherd and wife Mona of Conway; and nieces, Kerri Davis of Conway and Laura Lee Southerland of Conway.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29 at Liberty Cemetery in Greenwood under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be 1-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6-7 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Dan Palmer, Greg Palmer, Wayland A. Parker II, Bill Woody, Joe Pearson, Jim Hendrickson, Tim Terry, and Randy Gazzoala. Honorary pallbearers will be The Vache Grasse Men’s Golf Association.

JONESBORO - Tom “Tommy” McAdams Jr., 33, of Jonesboro died Friday.

MAYFLOWER - Clarence Estin Terry of Mayflower passed awayon Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013. He was born on Jan. 20, 1919, in Winslow (Sunset), Ark., to the late D. G. and Sylvia Sebourn Terry.

Clarence was raised on a farm in Sunset, Ark., and served his country in the Navy during WWII where he worked at Pearl Harbor as a heavy equipment operator. He drove a city bus in Fort Smith and alsodrove for Oklahoma Transportation. He was a driver for 25 years for ABF Truck Lines until his retirement. He loved trains and engineered a steam train in Eureka Springs. After he retired, he made fiddles and many items in his woodworking shop.

Clarence was saved in Free Will Baptist Church in Fort Smith and was baptized in a creek at Rudy, Ark., in April of 1953.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Nell Terry; and two sisters. He is survived by E. Kay (Terry) Mobley; Dee (Houston) Honeycutt, Dwight (Jane) Terry, David D. (Debbie) Terry, Judy (Larry) Harwell; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 30, at Mayflower Cemetery in Mayflower. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, Ark. (501) 791-7400.

MENA - Dale Wright, age 74, of Mena passed away Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at his home.

SILOAM SPRINGS - Ross Butler Stout, 83, died on Oct.27, 2013, in Siloam Springs, Ark. His legacy is one of a life of service to his family, profession, church and community. Born Feb. 15, 1930, in Siloam Springs, he was the son of Albert Ross Stout and Ethel Butler Stout.

Survivors include: his wife of 64 years, Frances Newton Stout of Siloam Springs; son, Michael Stout and his wife Connie of Northwest Ark.; daughter, Donna Hillard and her husband Randy of Ozark, Ark.; son, Charles Stout and his wife Tammy of Siloam Springs; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; his brothers, Charles “Chick” Stout of Wichita, Kan., Jim Stout of Florida; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Ross attended Siloam Springs Public Schools, the University of Arkansas, and graduated from the LSU School of Banking. He was a banker for over 50 years, serving as President of Arkansas State Bank in Siloam Springs from 1971-1994. He was a member of First Christian Church, Siloam Springs, where he served as an elder, treasurer and in many other areas of leadership.One of his passions in the last few years has been to share the love of Jesus Christ with others through his participation in the Heart of the Ozarks Emmaus group. Ross was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Siloam Springs for 50 years.

Many civic and nonprofit groups benefitted from Ross’ leadership and generosity. He was a member of the Arkansas Independent Bankers Association and served as their President in 1992-1993; also serving as the Director for Arkansas in the Independent Bankers Association of America from 1986-1994. He was proud to share with Cookson Hills Youth Ranch, Life Styles, Inc., and John Brown University as a board member of The Charles H. Stout Foundation. He was a Life Member of Springdale Jaycees and was awarded their Distinguished Service Award in 1966. He was a member of Siloam Springs Chamber of Commerce, serving as their president in 1973 andreceiving their Pioneer Citizen Award in 2003. He was on the Board of Directors for The Main Street, Siloam Springs.

Ross was an avid golfer, being a member of Dawn Hill Men’s Golf Association. He and his wife Fran sought and played on many beautiful courses in their travels throughout the United States. He also enjoyed bird hunting, fishing with his sons, grandsons and friends.

A celebration on Ross’ life will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013, at First Christian Church, Siloam Springs, Ark., led by Pastor Vance Eubanks, pastor friend from Prairie Grove Christian Church. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be his grandsons, Aaron Webb, Andrew Stout, John Hillard, James Hillard, Levi Herrin; and his nephew, Bob Townes. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Ark. There will be a private burial. WARD - Jim Frank Griffith, 70, of Ward, Ark., was born Dec. 10, 1942, in Old Austin, died Oct. 26, 2013.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Addie (Williams) Griffith; one brother, Charles Griffith; one sister Bernice Heffner; and one infant sister, Betty Griffith.

He is survived by the love of his life Bonnie (Dixon) Griffith, whom he married Nov. 4, 1963; one son, Robert Griffith (Mary) of Beebe, Ark.; one daughter, Lesia Bousquet (Tom) of McKinney, Texas; two granddaughters, Kristen and Katie Bousquet of McKinney, who were the joy of his life, Texas; two sisters, Polly Jones (Ben) of Perryville, Ark., Freda Miller, of Little Rock, Ark.

He retired in 1998 after 36 years of faithful service at the Little Rock Air Force Base Commissary.

Family will receive friends Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, from 6-8 p.m. at Westbrook Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Westbrook Funeral Home with interment to follow at Butlerville Cemetery.

CRESTVIEW, Fla. - Linda Dianne Norris passed away on Oct. 26th, 2013, after a seven-month battle with lung cancer. Dianne was born in Dewitt, Ark., on May 30th, 1950, to Homer and Margaret Booher. Although she was born and raised in Arkansas, she resided in Crestview, Fla., at the time of her passing. She was preceded in death by both parents as well as her stepfather, Wayne Overton; and two brothers, Harvey and Homer Jr. She is survived by her husband, Todd, of Crestview, Fla.; brother, Rick Booher of Little Rock, Ark.; and sister, Debi Norris of Pensacola, Fla. She is also survived by her daughter, Cheley Yielding; son-in-law, Gary; son, Pell Parker; and her grandchildren, Ashley Yielding, Alexandria Yielding, Zachary Parker and Taylor Parker, as well as a host of loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. She also loved her wonderful stepsons, Chris, Kyle, and Hunter; and step grandchildren Zander, Nola, Dottie, and Bridgett. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday., Oct. 29th, at McLaughlin Mortuary and graveside service will be held at 11 a.m on Wednesday, Oct. 30th, at Beal Memorial Cemetery with Rev. John Scott Officiating.
