Robbery in St. Louis nets hair extensions

ST. LOUIS — St. Louis police are investigating a smash-and-grab robbery that netted a thief thousands of dollars in hair extensions.

Police say someone drove a sport utility vehicle into Kings Beauty Supply in south St. Louis on Monday morning in the latest in a series of smash-and-grab robberies in the city.

The store owner told KMOV that the suspects took $10,000 in hair extensions before fleeing the scene.

It was not immediately known whether anything else was taken.
