A man found shot dead Tuesday in a Little Rock park has been identified, authorities say.
Two runners were in the 900 block of McMath Avenue on the east side of MacArthur Park about 7 a.m. when they discovered the body of Milton Carter, 33, of Little Rock in a ditch, according to Little Rock Police Department spokesman Sgt. Cassandra Davis.
Josh Todd, 28, was charged with first-degree murder in the case late Tuesday and taken to the Pulaski County jail. The motive for the killing remains unclear, Davis said Wednesday.
The shooting death was the city’s 23rd homicide this year.
