Authorities are investigating an accident Thursday evening on Interstate 430 in west Little Rock.
An Arkansas State Police spokesman said a wreck involving a tractor-trailer and a car occurred about 6:10 p.m. in the northbound lanes near the Shackleford Road exit. One northbound lane is open, and southbound traffic is moving freely, the spokesman said. Initial reports indicate that the injuries are believed to be minor.
The tractor-trailer was carrying boxes of bananas that spilled out onto the highway after the vehicle overturned. No information is available from officials about how the accident happened at this time.
