Officials to celebrate bi-fueling station in Arkansas

CONWAY — State and local officials are planning a celebration of the opening of Arkansas' first bi-fueling station offering both compressed natural gas and gasoline.

Gov. Mike Beebe on Tuesday plans to join Conway Mayor Tab Townsell and Conway Area Chamber of Commerce President Brad Lacy to mark the opening of the Satterfield Fuels station. The grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony marks a two-year process to build Conway's first CNG fueling station. The site also contains a traditional fueling station, meaning that vehicles that use both gasoline and CNG will be able to fuel up at the facility.

Satterfield Fuels President Branch Satterfield also plans to speak at the event.
