Work on U.S. 70 in St. Francis County will require a lane closure starting Wednesday, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.
Crews overlaying asphalt on the highway between Arkansas 38 in Widener and Arkansas 75 will reduce traffic to a single lane, the Highway Department said. The lane closure will run from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, and will resume at 6 p.m. Sunday and run weeknights, from 6 p.m. till 6 a.m., through April 25, weather permitting, highway officials said.
Traffic will be controlled using flaggers, cones and warning signs.
