Man threatens to kill sister after burglarizing her home, authorities say

A Little Rock man burglarized his sister's home and then threatened to kill her and her children if she called police, prosecutors said during an initial court appearance Tuesday.

Gregory Fisher, 25, is facing charges including residential burglary, breaking or entering and first-degree terroristic threatening.

According to a Little Rock police report, Fisher broke into a home in the 3300 block of Potter Street and stealing property inside this month after last month breaking into a safe there and taking a pair of diamond rings.

During an initial video appearance in Little Rock District Court on Tuesday, prosecutors identified the victim as Fisher's sister and said she called him about the break-in after a neighbor reported having seen Fisher around the house.

Fisher acknowledged breaking in and said he would kill her, her kids and "shoot up the home" if she called police, prosecutors said in court.

Judge Alice Lightle set bail at $20,000 and ordered Fisher to wear an ankle monitor if he's released.
