Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Thursday afternoon in Little Rock.
Officers responded about 3:20 p.m. to a home at 5224 Rinke Road, a dead-end street off Geyer Springs Road. Little Rock police spokesman Lt. Sidney Allen said that an unidentified man was found lying on the floor of the residence. The man had been shot.
He was taken to a hospital, where he died.
Late Thursday, no arrests had been made in the shooting, which is the 20th homicide in Little Rock this year. It’s the eighth killing in the past seven days.
