April 27 Mount Holly Cemetery Spring Picnic, 5 to 7 p.m. at the cemetery. The picnic includes appetizers and dinner, music by the Quapaw Brass Quintet and a silent auction. Funds raised are used to help maintain the historic cemetery. Tickets are $75 for adults and $25 for children under 12.

27 First lady Ginger Beebe’s Tea, 2 to 4 p.m. at the Governor’s Mansion. Held in the garden, the tea will benefit the Mansion Association. Tickets are $25 for children ages 6 to 18 and $50 for adults. Call (501) 324-9805, for more information.

27 Spring Fashion Fundraiser, 3 to 5 p.m. at the home of Drs. Frances Harris and Joe Hargrove, 13 Iron Horse Road.

The fundraiser by the Horace Mann Senior High School Transitional Class of 1972 will fund scholarships for Little Rock School District’s graduating seniors. Class members, their children, grandchildren and others will model clothing from their personal wardrobes as well as from Stein Mart. 28 Governor’s Culinary Challenge, 6:30 p.m. at the Capital Hotel. Gourmet bites from eight of Arkansas’ most popular chefs, a signature cocktail and music by Dr. Danny Fletcher and company. May 1 Preservation Crustaceans, VIP reception at 5:30 p.m., general admission at 6 at Argenta Plaza at 520 Main St. in North Little Rock. The Historic Preservation Alliance of Arkansas will host the annual all-you-can-eat crawfish and shrimp boil to raise funds and awareness for places of historic and cultural significance throughout the state. Admission for kids ages 8 and under is free and tickets for ages 9-17 are $10 VIP tickets are $60 and general admission is $40. Buy them at preservearkansas.org.

1 Seventh annual Paws on the Runway, 5:30 p.m. at the Governor’s Mansion. The annual canine style show and silent auction includes wine, beer, heavy hors d’oeuvres and a pet theme runway show featuring local celebrities and dignitaries escorting pets on the runway.

3 Wild Wines Around the World for the Little Rock Zoo begins at 6 p.m. with a special Reserve Room wine tasting, 7 p.m. for general admittance. The event features wines from several different countries along with food pairings from dozens of Arkansas’ best restaurants.

General admission is $65, Reserve Room tickets are $100.
