Fed-Ex employees and friends wait at a staging area at a skating rink after a shooting at a FedEX Corp facility at an airport in Kennesaw, Ga., on April 29, 2014. At least six people were reported hospitalized from wounds according to local reports.

ATLANTA — A doctor says three victims are in critical condition — and two of them with life-threatening wounds — after they were shot multiple times at a FedEx station outside Atlanta.

In all, six people were wounded in the shootings Tuesday morning, and the suspected gunman was found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot.

Dr. Michael Nitzken at Wellstar Kennestone hospital told reporters two of the victims had been treated and released while a third remained at the hospital and was stable. He said each of them had wounds consistent with shotgun blasts.
