A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Thursday morning in Washington County, state police reported.
Ted Coody, 53, was driving a Honda Civic south on Interstate 49 when he lost control of the vehicle at 8:13 a.m. The car left the road, traveled down an embankment and struck a tree.
It was raining and the road was wet when the crash occurred, according to state police.
