JONESBORO — Organizers of the Johnny Cash Music Festival in northeast Arkansas are preparing to announce a book that's to be published.

A news conference is set for 2 p.m. Thursday at the Arkansas State University campus in Jonesboro. Cash's youngest daughter, Tara Cash Schwoebel, is to announce the publication of her book, Recollections.

The festival's sold-out concert is Friday night at the Convocation Center at ASU. The show features Country Music Hall of Fame members Reba McEntire, Loretta Lynn and Bobby Bare.

Saturday marks the opening of the Johnny Cash Boyhood Home in Dyess. The music festival is in its fourth year and is the project's major annual fundraiser.
