Little Rock stabbing leaves man injured

Little Rock police are investigating a Friday morning stabbing that left a man injured.

Police were dispatched about 6:50 p.m. to Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, where Marshall Buford told officers that he was stabbed by a woman outside his apartment at 9101 Auxur Road.

He said that his girlfriend, Shaquita Allen, went to his apartment Aug. 10 while he had another girl over. When Buford wouldn’t open the door for Allen, he said, she “busted" the windows out of his apartment, according to a Little Rock police report.

About 10:30 a.m. Friday, Buford said, he was leaving his apartment, when two women approached him, saying “they didn’t like the way he was treating their friend” and jumped him, the report states.

Buford told police that the smaller of the two women struck him in the face, and the larger woman stabbed him in the abdomen with a small black folding knife, according to the report.

When officers asked Buford why he waited to report the stabbing, he told them that he didn’t want to get the police involved. After Buford was attacked, he said, he put a bandage on the wound, took some ibuprofen and went to lie down, the report states.

One of the attackers is described as a dark-complected black woman, 5-foot-10, about 200 pounds, wearing a white tank top and white shorts. The second is described as a light-complected black woman, 5-foot-3, about 120 pounds, wearing a tank top and black spandex-style pants.

Buford's injury was non-life-threatening, the report states.
