Two people were killed in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday in Batavia in Boone County, state police reported.
Jerry Kilburn was driving a 1993 Chevrolet west on Arkansas 392 at 7:24 p.m. when he lost control of the vehicle on a curve. The vehicle exited the roadway, struck a highway sign and a fence, then overturned.
Two passengers, Charles McMurtry, 44, and Tiffany Lewis, 33, were killed.
Kilburn, 49, was taken to Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville for treatment.
Lewis and Kilburn shared an address in Harrison, according to state police. McMurtry also lived in Harrison.
Conditions were clear and dry when the crash occurred.
