Stacey Jones, 20, of 1702 S. Pierce St.; Ashley Williams, 17, of 2215 S. Harrison St.; and Keion Maxwell, 18, of 3524 Walker St. are all charged in the death of Karel Perez, 41, who deputies found lying dead on the living room floor of his residence at 2123 San Luis Blvd. around 6:30 p.m. Monday. Perez's wife called the sheriff's office. He had been shot in the head.

According to Jones' arrest report, "physical evidence was collected at the scene that identified Jones as a possible subject." After being read her rights, Jones admitted to being at the scene when Perez was killed, the report said. Williams' arrest report also says that physical evidence at the scene identified her as a suspect, and that, after being read her rights, she admitted to being present at the scene when Perez was killed.

Maxwell faces an additional misdemeanor carrying a weapon charge because he was arrested with a loaded .40-caliber handgun in his possession, according to his arrest report.

Sheriff's office spokesman Lt. Carl Minden said no further arrests were expected in the case.

Both Jones and Williams, who is being charged as an adult, were being held in the Pulaski County jail in lieu of $500,000 bonds Wednesday night. No bond information was available on Maxwell on Wednesday night.
