Burglars break into LR home, threaten teen girl, police say

Authorities are looking for two men who broke into a Little Rock home and threatened to kill a teenage girl as they made off with a television, police said.

It happened about 6:30 p.m. Thursday at a home in the 2700 block of South Tyler Street.

According to a Little Rock Police Department report, a 15-year-old girl who was in the residence at the time reported she heard a door being kicked in and then saw two men she didn't know in the living room.

One of the men called her a derogatory name and warned her not to move or he would kill her, the report said.

The girl reportedly ran from the residence and the men followed, taking a television from the home as they left.

Officers searched the area but didn't make any arrests.
