Shipley's Do-Nuts robbed at gunpoint

Authorities are searching for a two men who robbed a Little Rock doughnut shop at gunpoint Saturday night.

It happened about 11:30 p.m. at the Shipley's Do-Nuts at 1424 N. Shackleford Road.

One man pointed a handgun at employees and ordered one of them to hand him the drawer from the cash register, according to a Little Rock Police Department report.

The employees told police they saw the man run east into the Berkeley Apartment complex at 1601 N. Shackleford.

Police say a witness at the apartment complex saw two men running behind the building with a cash register drawer.

Authorities searched the area after the robbery, but no arrests were made.

Employees and the witness described the robbers as black men between 18 and 25 years old. The gunman wore black and a ski mask, and the other wore all black.

The men left the business with an undisclosed amount of money.
