SILOAM SPRINGS — Benton County authorities say a person of interest has been questioned in the shooting death of a man in his home near Siloam Springs.
Deputy Keisha Guyll told KHOG that the death of 55-year-old Tim Meehan Sr. is being investigated as a homicide. No arrests have been announced.
Guyll said Meehan's body was found in his bedroom Friday morning by family members. Guyll said it appears Meehan was killed by a gunshot wound in the head, but that the body is being sent to the state medical examiner's office for more investigation.
