Memphis police have arrested a man in the Tuesday killings of two during a robbery.

Eddie Harris, 29, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder and a charge of first-degree murder in the perpetration of a robbery, the Memphis Police Department said in a statement Monday.

Officers responded about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday to 3963 Brooksville Drive, where they found Aaron Moore, 48, and Robert Dale, 31, suffering inside a home from gunshot wounds, police said. Moore was dead at the scene; Dale was taken to The Med in critical condition but died from his injuries the next day, police said.

During the investigation, officers determined that Moore and Dale had been shot during a robbery. Police didn't provide details on how Harris was developed as a suspect. He was booked in the Shelby County jail shortly after noon Sunday and is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 25.
