Authorities are searching for the man who robbed a Little Rock bank on Monday afternoon.
Little Rock police responded to a call of a robbery at the Bank of the Ozarks, 11102 N. Rodney Parham Road, about noon. Witnesses at the scene said a tall, thin white man approached a teller and passed a note explaining his intention to rob the bank and demanding money, Little Rock Police Department Lt. Sidney Allen said.
The teller handed the man an unknown amount of money, and the robber fled the bank on foot to a 1990s-era American-made vehicle, got in and drove away, Allen said.
Allen said the man appeared to be the only person inside the bank who was involved in the robbery. It was unclear whether there was a second person acting as a driver.
No one is believed to have been injured during the robbery.
