Note gets robber cash at LR bank

A robber wearing a deerstalker hat walked into a northwest Little Rock bank with a note and walked out with an undisclosed amount of cash early Monday afternoon.

Little Rock Police Department spokesman Lt. Sidney Allen said that around noon, a “tall and thin” white man walked into the Bank of the Ozarks branch at 11102 N. Rodney Parham Road and handed a teller a note indicating he was robbing the bank.

The teller gave him an undisclosed amount of cash and the man left through the front door and hopped into a “’90s model American vehicle,” which drove off in an unknown direction, Allen said.

No other details about the suspect, the note or the vehicle were available Monday afternoon.
