HOT SPRINGS - A Hot Springs attorney was arrested on a theft charge Friday, the Garland County sheriff’s office said.
Andrea Davis, 36, was charged Thursday with theft by receiving more than $1,000, which is a felony. At 5:21 p.m. Friday, she was arrested again on the same charge. Davis was released Friday on a $3,500 bond.
Further details were not immediately available.
Davis is the Hot Springs lawyer whom Arkansas Attorney General Dustin Mc-Daniel said he had an “inappropriate” relationship with in December 2012. The next month, McDaniel stopped his campaign for the Democratic nomination for governor.
