Two teens have been arrested after they set the rocket slide playground at Burns Park on fire, North Little Rock police said.

Police say Curry Jerry Smith of Sherwood and Jordan Parker of North Little Rock, both 18, have been charged in the case.

The early Saturday morning fire heavily damaged two slides at the popular rocket-shaped playground, "totally" melting one and leaving two large burn holes in another, according to a police report.

The report added it appeared "the suspects [were] on top of the Rocket Slide and poured the accelerants down both slides and ignited them."
