SEARCY -- A man was charged with first-degree murder Monday in the death of his 4-month-old daughter.
Dustin Lee Watson, 19, of Searcy was charged in White County Circuit Court, Prosecuting Attorney Chris Raff said.
Raff said he has not released the baby's name. He said she died from blunt-force trauma, but he declined to give other details.
The infant was taken to a Searcy hospital June 19 and then to Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, where she died during surgery later that day.
