California city is latest immigration flashpoint

MURRIETA, Calif. — Demonstrators have gathered again outside a U.S. Border Patrol station in Murrieta, California, where the agency intends to process some of the immigrants who have flooded the Texas border with Mexico.

The crowd numbers about 120 Friday morning, about a third opposing illegal immigration and two thirds supporting immigrants. Shouting matches have erupted but there has been no violence. Police are monitoring the scene.

Earlier this week a crowd of protesters blocked buses carrying women and children migrants who were flown from overwhelmed Texas facilities to be processed in Murrieta, about 55 miles north of downtown San Diego.

The Border Patrol had to take the migrants elsewhere.

The Obama administration has done nothing but encourage more illegal immigration, with hi talk of amnesty for illegals. The border has not been secured: over 50,000 children have come into this country since October. The president refuses to do his job as head of the executive branch of the government. No wonder he was recently ranked as the most unpopular president since WWII.

Obamas not doing his job ? He's the ONLY one doing his job. The Republican Congress sure as Hell aren't doing theirs. Unless you agree that their job is to obstruct the operation of the government. Obama is only unpopular with a racist minority, people who are capable of rational thought think he's doing a great job especially since he's been blocked since day one by the worst Congress in American history.

The President has the power and authority to secure that border at a drop of a hat.

Capitalist12, I've seen where others have said the same-thing of Obama's unpopularity. Who conducted the poll of what we speak.

Obama has deported more illegals than any other President. Again he is the only one doing his job in DC. These children are here because the drug cartels told the boys join or be killed and were about to grab the girl as forced prostitutes. Do you blame them for heading this way?

dddka ..... just tell us how he could secure the border at the drop of a hat.
It will take hundreds of millions to do that and that will need congressional approval and the house is not going to do anything Obama wants to do, because they are scared to death of the tea party. We have a do nothing congress because of a minority of radical Taliban like individuals in the house and senate.
