Pine Bluff police are searching for two men who robbed a convenience store Saturday night.
The robbery occurred about 9:43 p.m., when two black men entered the Kwik Check Food Mart at 800 N. Bryant St. and took money from both cash registers. One of the robbers was armed with a handgun, police said.
The robbers got away with approximately $600 in cash and money orders, a police report states. After the robbery, witnesses say the robbers ran east on Malcomb Street.
Surveillance footage showed the armed robber wearing a black T-shirt, khaki cargo shorts with a striped red, black and white shirt pulled over his head and face, police said.
The other robber wore a red T-shirt with a white undershirt, black, knee-length short pants, black socks with lime green, chevron print, a lime green band on his left wrist, earrings in both ears, a red bandana on his face and a black do-rag on his head.
The store clerk told police that he shot at the robbers as they left the store, but he didn't hit them.
