Marci Morgan Smith and Blaze Buckley Henryson were united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, May 25, at The Sonnenalp Hotel in Vail, Colo. Officiating was Leo Rowland Smith, brother of the bride, worship arts pastor at The Ascent Church in Monument, Colo.

The bride is the daughter of Cydney and the late William "Bill" Smith of Little Rock. She is the granddaughter of the late Athanel and Jim Elslander of Heber Springs and the late Ellene "Sis" and Leo Smith of Stuttgart.

The groom is the son of Elizabeth Brandt and Walter Henryson, both of Modesto, Calif. His grandparents are the late Lois and Richard Van Fleet and the late Velma and Melvin Henryson, all of Los Angeles.

Vows for the outdoor ceremony were exchanged beside Gore Creek. Music was by flutist and guitarist Elisa Bernardo.

The bride, given in marriage by her mother, wore an ivory strapless gown with an overlay of tulle embellished with beaded guipure lace appliques. The ruched bodice was trimmed with beading. She carried a bouquet of white peonies, white hydrangeas and cymbidium orchids with purple centers.

Maid of honor was Emily Hollis Proffitt of Seattle. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Anne Kobylarczyk of Denver and Breanna Rose Horgan of Modesto, sister of the groom. They wore charcoal-colored gowns with matte crepe halter-style bodices and soft charmeuse skirts with lavender sashes. They carried bouquets of baby's breath.

Best man was George Rabtzow Jr. of Denver. Groomsmen were Shawn Michael Stricklin of Las Vegas, brother of the groom, and Robert Graham Smith of Little Rock, brother of the bride.

A reception, also at The Sonnenalp, followed the ceremony. Tables were centered with tall clear cylinder vases filled with submerged baby's breath with floating candles on top. Large pomander balls of baby's breath in varying lengths were suspended from the atrium ceiling. Dinner music was by Elisa Bernardo and dance music by A Great Time.

The bride has a bachelor's degree in studio art with an emphasis in graphic design from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and is a real estate agent with Keller Williams Denver Central LLC in Denver.

The groom has a bachelor's degree in liberal arts and a master's degree in criminology from Regis University in Denver. He is a medical support assistant in the Podiatry Clinic for the Department of Veterans Affairs in Denver.

The couple will make their home in Denver.
