Police cancel Silver Alert for Searcy man

The Searcy Police Department has canceled a Silver Alert that was issued Tuesday afternoon for a Searcy man who had been missing since Thursday morning.

Officer Steve Hernandez with the Searcy Police Department said Bobby Jo Rice, 57, had been in a Little Rock hospital for the last few days, and his family was unaware.

The Searcy Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a Searcy man who has been missing since Thursday morning.

Officials say that Rice was last seen about 9 a.m. Thursday at 606 N. Sowell St. in Searcy.

He’s described as a white man with long gray hair, brown eyes, standing 5 feet 9 inches and weighing 230 pounds.

Anyone with information about Rice’s whereabouts is asked to call Steven Hernandez at (501) 268-3531.
