Robert "Bobby" Draft was charged in May with first-degree murder in the killing of Douglas Cloyes, 72, outside of Cloyes' Barber Road home in Bald Knob.

Deputy Phillip Miller of the White County sheriff's office said last month that the May 18 shooting occurred after Draft and his wife were involved in a disturbance next door and Cloyes intervened. Cloyes was shot during the altercation, and police found him in the yard.

Authorities believed Draft shot Cloyes with a .223-caliber rifle and that he was armed with a .22-caliber pistol when police were looking for him.

Draft will be extradited back to Arkansas, Miller said in a news release Monday. He's currently being held at a facility in Michigan.

Miller said he had no further information on Draft's arrest Monday.
