Arkansas State Police have arrested a man in connection to a fatal hit-and-run reported Tuesday night in Logan County.
Jason Rhodes, 37, of Booneville is accused of driving the 2009 GMC Acadia that fatally struck Joy Duvall, 50, about 9:50 p.m. as she was walking along Arkansas 23 in Booneville, police said Friday.
Duvall had been walking on the shoulder of the highway, about half a mile south of Arkansas 10, when she was struck, police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Rhodes has been charged with negligent homicide and failure to stop after an accident with injury or death.
