Sunday Dinner

GURDON — The Central Arkansas Development Council Gurdon Senior Activity Center will host a Sunday dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 410 E. Main St. The meal will include chicken and dressing, cranberry sauce, candied yams, English peas, hot rolls, lemon cake with lemon icing, coffee and tea. Each meal is $7 for dine-in or carryout. First Christian Church Revival

Dinosaurs Among Us

BRYANT/BENTON — The Natural History Educational Company of the Midsouth will present the animal exhibit Dinosaurs Among Us at 9:30 a.m. at the Mabel Boswell Memorial Library in Bryant and at 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. at the Bob Herzfeld Memorial Library in Benton. This reptile-dominant program, which features the popular South American tegu, Sulcata tortoise and 8-foot-long albino Burmese python, will focus on similarities between modern reptiles and dinosaurs. Summer Splash Art Show

ARKADELPHIA — The Arkadelphia Arts Center will present Summer Splash, a community art show of fine art and crafts, sponsored by the Caddo River Art Guild. All artwork will be for sale. Mystic Creatures Exhibit

HOT SPRINGS — Garvan Woodland Gardens presents the exhibit Mystic Creatures: Topiary Art Meets Imagination from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Aug. 31. HOT SPRINGS — Merchants and residents of Park Avenue will present a series of festivals from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. the second Saturday of the month through September. Vendors will offer food, crafts, jewelry, tie-dyed items, metal and wood crafts, an organic dog wash, bicycle repair, organic fruits, vegetables, plants and flowers. Entertainment will include music, pottery demonstrations and a plein-air alla-prima painting party.
