HOPE -- Hope police are investigating the death Sunday of a man found unconscious at an apartment.
According to police, Robert Brown, 29, was found in the living room of the East Third Street apartment "with obvious signs of trauma to his body."
He was transported to a Texarkana hospital, where he later died.
A preliminary investigation shows that Brown fell from a moving vehicle in the 1100 block of East Third Street in the early morning hours Sunday and was moved by friends to the apartment, police said in a news release.
The Hope Police Department's criminal investigative division is looking at it as a "suspicious death," according to the news release. No suspects have been identified.
