3300 Wynne St., Little Rock.

A Little Rock house suffered an estimated $40,000 in damage in a fire that started early Wednesday morning.

Fire department crews were called about 6:45 a.m. to a house at 3300 Wynne St., which sits west of Boyle Park.

Little Rock Fire Department spokesman Randy Hickmon said firefighters extinguished a blaze that had made its way into the single-story home's attic.

No one was living at the home, which had power but no gas. No injuries were reported.

Hickmon said the cause remains under investigation.
